LoudMeter is free — for everyone, forever. It measures everything on your stereo bus and changes nothing. Loudness, dynamics and spectrum follow the ITU-R BS.1770-5, EBU Tech 3342 and true-peak standards, with a full history graph, a spectrum view with genre targets, and broadcast and streaming presets in mind.

Standard loudness

Momentary (400 ms) and short-term (3 s) loudness, plus a gated integrated value in LUFS, verified against the BS.1770 reference.

True peak

True peak is measured with 4× oversampling in dBTP and compared to your active preset's ceiling, so the alarm catches it before it gets to a codec.

Loudness range

The dynamic spread of the material (LRA, EBU Tech 3342) reads the whole session and tells you how much your track breathes.

History graph

A scrolling 60-second window keeps momentary, short-term and integrated in view with gating dimmed, so you see what the number is built from.

Genre targets

Eight reference balance curves from the SELANCE data let you compare your tonal balance against a genre — analysis only, never an effect.

Platform presets

Broadcast and streaming targets — EBU R128, ATSC A/85, Spotify, Apple Music and more — as a loudness line and a true-peak ceiling.
